It’s not often we get asked to play or make ambient sets (Soma asked), in all the clubs we visited over the last 3 years we haven’t seen a single chill out room! Something’s just leave a mark for ever, Cabaret Voltaire in 1978 was one of them. For the first time in our early listening days it was difficult to understand how the sound was being made. It was just so different, it meant something and it still does.

Well another month’s rolled by and we’re down to finishing the last three tracks on the album, along with a touch of mastering.

After testing out over 60 different track configs on CDR we have finally selected the 15 tracks for the album, we haven’t added any bolts just yet. We reckon another 3 weeks and we’ll be done but we’ve said that before.

Here’s another URS mix we’ve made, this one helped us get out of the habit of mixing one track into another smoothly, great if your a DJ but not always the best way to program an album and a tricky habit to get out of.

Sometimes you just need something to clear your head – a state of neither neither if you will. This mix was created to be used in our car when traveling to gigs and to the studio for the sole purpose of clearing our heads of all the jingles/sayings/other peoples music/soundbytes/shite that creeps in, the viruses that nag and chip away like a small child asking “are we nearly there yet?”.
